hi hello hey, welcome to our corner of the internet!
Last week’s episode was a little bit heavy and we hope you all enjoyed it! Please listen if you haven’t, but this week we’re back on the “flair” talking about one of our greatest loves and hobbies: music! We’ve loved talking about this side of us and we hope you all enjoy hearing us fangirl while also getting some great music recommendations (although we’re a bit biased). We also hit the “rare” by talking about how we enjoy shows of many kinds and touch on our music performance experience.
As always, we love the engagement with our listeners, especially those of you that offered us kind words after our last episode. Thank you all for the support, and feel free to send us any thoughts or stories to hello@rarewithflair.com DM us on instagram @rare.with.flair!
episode summary
First, we start off by making a couple housekeeping announcements, namely that we aren’t accepting follows to our personal instagram accounts to keep our privacy, but jump down to the notes to see how to keep up with us. Then, we talk about our favorite small talk topic: fall (we’re those people lol). Cass tells an unbelievable story you’ve got to hear about her family’s weekend apple picking, and Case talks about her socially distant movie at a local theater. After, we launch into our top ten favorite artists as well as who’s set the mood for us in this very strange year. Next, we transition into concerts and how we see them, moving into seeing plays, sporting events, and audio description at movies. Then, we talk about our experience performing music, especially how we perform for the Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome Network. Finally, we end on a game of naming a song/album for 10 prompts.
