38. our jobs, discrimination, & unattainable goals
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
hi hello hey, and hi to anyone listening while working (no shame)!
This week, we decided to talk about the jobs we’ve had, leading up to what we’re doing now. We’ll combine the “flair” of our life experiences with the “rare,” when talking about a couple instances with discrimination.
Also, Rare Disease Day is coming up at the end of February! Unlike last year where we did a limited merch run to raise money for the Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome Network, we’ll be sharing a link for Rare with Flair fans to donate directly to the Network. Check out our page on DonorView and please consider donating! As we’ve said before, all HPS Network donations fund research for a cure for pulmonary fibrosis, which is deadly without lung transplant in most variants of the disease. Funds also go towards programming and bringing families together for our annual conference.
